CLLR David Ellis may well be disgusted that anyone would disagree with a six per cent increase (34k pounds) in the Winsford Town Council Tax precept but he conveniently forgets to let residents know that the Town Council does not receive any money from the Government and all monies raised comes directly from the hard working tax payers of Winsford, a tax hike that even members of the Labour team voted against.

For an example of true hypocrisy, readers should note that Cllr Ellis does not even live in Winsford and will therefore not be paying the extra six per cent that he found so easy to vote for.
