AN open letter to Mrs Booth.
I wanted to write to thank you publicly as a school for putting on such a wide and varied range of after school activities for free.
There are many inequalities in society with money (or lack of) dictating what we can do for our children. The fact that these activities are free will mean that all children in Cledford Primary School are equal; nobody will miss out due to financial concerns.
I’m sure parents who are potentially using food banks or just about meeting the bills every month will be so grateful for their children to be able to join in without any extra worry or the guilt of not being able to send their children along.
I love this school for so many reasons, but just wanted to say thank you in particular for this.
Keep up the great work.
