THE reason to say no to the Neighbourhood Plan is that most Winsford people agree that the most attractive area of Winsford is the Flashes.
That is why the lane passing the Flashes, Rilshaw Lane, is part of the Weaver Way and a national cycle route, a place for bird watchers and lovers of wild life.
What makes the Flashes so attractive are the green fields, woods, hedges and trees on both sides, plus St Chad’s Church.
Why destroy all of this to put houses on both sides of the Flashes and both sides of Rilshaw Lane, which would then, together with all the extra traffic, become a death trap?
This area in years to come would make a beautiful country park for future generations.
Once all this is gone, it is gone forever.
Please ban the plan.
