I’LL be interested to see whether Cheshire West and Chester Council submits a response to this observation regarding the new Bull Ring road layout in Northwich.

Traffic leaving the Town bridge has very little room to manoeuvre when both lanes are occupied, particularly when buses or lorries are involved.

Safety is further compromised when traffic from Castle wishing to continue along Chesterway engages with Leftwich-bound traffic from Winnington since switching lanes on or before the bridge is impossible.

Accidents will happen and it would be good for CWAC to acknowledge this shortcoming.
