Saturday’s 5-2 success against Congleton Town was backed up by Tuesday night’s 2-1 victory at a misty Newcastle Town.

This week’s double makes the league table much brighter reading, with Albion now 14th ahead of hosting Stafford Rangers on Saturday, kick-off 3pm.
1874 Northwich confidently marched into the second round of the Cheshire Senior Cup with a 3-1 home win against Runcorn Town on Tuesday.

Although Town got themselves back on level terms, Blake Robinson restored the lead as he was first to the rebound after the home keeper tipped Reece Davies’ shot onto the post.
Jack Woolley concluded the scoring with his 13th goal of the season.
Northwich Victoria’s scheduled trip to Cheadle Town in the Cheshire Senior Cup tonight has been postponed due to stadium floodlights work and has been rescheduled for Wednesday, November 27.
