LEAGUE wins are like buses for Witton Albion at the moment.

Saturday’s 5-2 success against Congleton Town was backed up by Tuesday night’s 2-1 victory at a misty Newcastle Town.

Mamadou Djabi’s 30th-minute effort proved decisive as Tyler Webster pulled a goal back for the hosts in the 90th minute.

This week’s double makes the league table much brighter reading, with Albion now 14th ahead of hosting Stafford Rangers on Saturday, kick-off 3pm.

Northwich Victoria’s scheduled trip to Cheadle Town in the Cheshire Senior Cup tonight has been postponed due to stadium floodlights work and has been rescheduled for Wednesday, November 27.
