THE 2023-24 league fixtures have been confirmed for Northern Premier League West clubs Witton Albion and 1874 Northwich.
The town rivals will face each other on Boxing Day and Easter Monday, with the first encounter at 1874’s Townfield home and the return clash at Witton’s U Lock It Stadium.
Fans will be keen to check the opponents for New Year’s Day, too.
Greens will be away to Nantwich Town, while Albion will be home to Runcorn Linnets.
Albion will start the campaign on the road, visiting Vauxhall Motors on Saturday, August 12.
Their first home game will soon follow, against Mossley on Tuesday, August 15.
Jon Macken’s men will also end the season away from home – City of Liverpool on April 27, unless there is a need to fit in delayed fixtures.
It is the other way round for 1874, who will start and end the term on home soil.
First up will be Kidsgrove Athletic on Saturday, August 12, while their last opponents to visit will be Runcorn Linnets on Saturday, April 27.
