WITTON Albion's wait for a fixture continues.
The bad weather has put paid to their game against Morpeth Town today, halting their bid to end a run of three weeks without playing.
An early morning inspection of the Wincham Park pitch found it to be waterlogged after the week's heavy rain, causing the match to be postponed.
A new date for the fixture will be set in due course.
The weather has played havoc with our teams' schedules, with Northwich Victoria, Winsford United and Barnton also seeing today's games postponed.
Vics were due to travel to Ashton Athletic, Winsford were due to be at home to Vauxhall Motors and Barnton were playing host to Abbey Hulton United, but all three games have fallen victim to waterlogged pitches.
As it stands, however, 1874 Northwich's trip to Kidsgrove Athletic is going ahead with a 2pm kick off.
