NORTHWICH Victoria’s top scorer faces further FA Cup heartbreak as he is banned for their second round clash with Lincoln City.
Mark Danks, who starts a three-match suspension this weekend following his dismissal at Stafford Rangers last month, will miss out again after Vics’ rescheduled league date with Blyth Spartans was postponed.
Mick Tait’s men play Morpeth Town at home in the Durham Senior Cup on November 24, the same night had been due to visit the Victoria Stadium.
That means Danks, 25, will sit out Sunday’s Blue Square North date with Hyde United and the FA Trophy Third Qualifying Round trip to Fleetwood Town on Saturday week.
At the moment Northwich have no other matches scheduled before they host Lincoln City in the FA Cup on Saturday, November 28.
