STAFFORD Rangers rescued a point after shipping two goals inside the first 10 minutes against in-form Northwich Victoria.
The visitors finished with 10-men too following Mark Danks second half dismissal.
Vics raced ahead in a pulsating first half, Jon Newby steering his first league goal past Lee Evans after Michael Connor had sent him clear.
Danks then claimed his 16th goal of the season, racing onto Jake Moult’s disastrous defensive header before blasting past a stunned Stafford keeper.
The hosts rallied, Tom Thorley drilling home Ben Mills’ assist on 24 minutes.
They were level soon afterwards, this time Mills applying the finishing touch after Levi Reid had picked Mat Bailey’s pocket on the goalline.
Danks was sent off for flooring Ashley Wooliscroft with an elbow in a spiky second half that saw four other players booked.
Both sides went close to snatching a winner, Nick Wellecomme slipping in front of goal after he had rounded keeper Curtis Aspden while at the other end Wayne Riley’s free kick evaded everybody only to hit the far post.
