Vics to be TV stars
NORTHWICH Victoria's FA Cup First Round tie against League One Charlton will be screened live on television.
The Victoria Stadium clash has been moved to Sunday November 8, kick off 1.30pm, so it can be broadcast on ITV1.
The news is an added boost for Vics, who were already expecting a windfall as a result of the bumper crowd expected for the plum tie.
Their Fourth Qualifying Round victory against FC United of Manchester on Saturday attracted a crowd of 2, 615 to the Victoria Stadium but the visit of the Addicks should easily exceed that.
The other televised tie on First Round weekend is Paulton Rovers game against Norwich City on Saturday November 7.
Ticket news for Vics' tie is expected to be released tomorrow.
