Match Pointers
WITTON Albion, fresh from their FA Trophy replay success at Sutton Coldfield Town on Monday, bid to close the gap at the top of UniBond Division One South tomorrow, Saturday.
Gary Finley’s men will be forced into at least one change as Dylan Adams starts a three-matches ban as punishment for his dismissal against Quorn earlier this month.
Paul Booth stands by.
Brian Pritchard may be forced to watch from the bench for the third successive match as newcomer Carl Ruffer continues to develop his understanding with captain Stuart Rudd at the heart of the backline.
Lee Neville can play as his suspension for being sent off at Sutton has not yet come through.
Mike Moseley, successfully restored to the starting line-up in Witton’s 3-2 extra-time win in the Midlands, should play in tandem with Steve Foster up front.
Witton have won on four of their past half dozen trips in league and cup, but were beaten by Chasetown on their last UniBond Division One South away day.
Goole AFC have won three of their past five league encounters, but were dumped out of the FA Trophy following a heavy 5-0 reverse at Skelmersdale United.
They bounced back to win at Lincoln United in the league in midweek.
Top scorer Mickey Goddard leads the line.
