VICS want fans to count on their lucky number to help raise thousands of pounds for their cash-strapped club.
Their Gold Bond lottery scheme was relaunched this week.
“Every day I’m asked by supporters how they can help,” said general manager Dave Thomas.
“By far the best way is to back the Gold Bond.”
The Gold Bond replaced the club’s much-loved Yankee, but brings in more money.
It costs £1 a week to play, with payouts totalling £1,000 to the winners.
“In these times of the so-called credit crunch we realise that there is not the amount of sponsorship around that there has been in the past,” added Thomas.
“The Gold Bond is an easy way to generate a steady income that can be the first step to restoring the club to its former glory.”
