TWO gymnasts have received good news after recovering from injuries.
Edie Coyle and Isabel Ashman, both from Northwich who train at Warrington Gymnastics Club, have been selected for the Women's Artistic Gymnastics North West Squad.
It is a group made up of a select few of the highest achievers from the region over the past year.
Edie, a year 9 student at The County High School and Isabel, a year 10 student at the partner school Middlewich High, missed the first session in April due to their injuries.
But they made their mark when they attended their first session with the squad at Liverpool Gymnastics Club recently, showing off a few new upgrades and gaining themselves a special recognition award for their efforts.
Both girls are working towards the English Championships next year.
