WINNINGTON Park Rugby Club are ensuring players in their ever-growing girls’ section are kitted out with the best gear.
The club have launched its first ever dedicated “Girls-Fit” rugby kit, with their players having collaborated on its design and production along with Buccaneer Group to ensure they have access to high-quality, properly-fitting attire.
Over the past decade, girls’ participation at Burrows Hill has grown exponentially and as such, they recognised the need to have a specialised kit tailored to the unique requirements of girls rugby.
With money raised by reaching out to local companies, the kit incorporates the latest advancements in sports apparel technology while proudly displaying WPRFC sponsors – Vale Royal Flooring, Hatfields, Country Wide, Radio Northwich, Karl Brooks Photography, Otrera Aromatics and Resilient Kid.
"We are thrilled to unveil the Girls-Fit Rugby Kit for our young players." said Niall Phillips, Head coach of the Winnington Park girls section.
"This initiative represents our commitment to fostering inclusivity, empowering young female athletes, and providing them with the support and resources they need to thrive in the sport of rugby."
