TONIGHT'S Mid-Cheshire Senior Cup Final between Witton Albion and Northwich Victoria WILL go ahead.
The recent wet weather put the game in danger of being postponed, but a second pitch inspection has deemed the U Lock It Stadium pitch playable.
As such, the two neighbours will meet to decide the fate of the trophy with a 7.45pm kick off.
An initial inspection took place at 3.45pm and with drier weather forecast, it was agreed the match referee would have a second look at 6pm.
Entry to tonight's game costs £10 for adults, £6 for concessions, £4 for 18-21 year olds, £2 for under 18s and children under five can enter for free.
