BARNTON Squash teams will return to action in January after their festive break.

The club have four men's teams competing in the North West Counties League, covering levels from Division Two to Division Five with Barnton' sides currently placed fifth, fifth, 10th and eighth in their respective sections.

And their women's team participate in the Cheshire Ladies Squash League Division 2b, where they sit fourth on the ladder.

Barnton Squash, based at Barnton Cricket Club, are now the sport's only club in the Northwich area.

With cricket, bowls and junior football all based there, it is all part of a thriving social club with bar and food available.

Most squash players should find the club offer a wide range of abilities that will provide competitive games.
