TREMENDOUS generosity is being shown by members of a Northwich sports club.
Cheshire Gymnastics members and their families have kindly collected more than 100 gifts for children in crisis this Christmas.
The presents have been collected by the British Red Cross and will help lonely children who are experiencing a difficult time to open a gift on December 25.
“Our lovely tree is decorated every year by our wonderful gym mum Gail Jackson,” said Laura Hudson, who is director of the Moss Farm-based club and also vice president of British Red Cross (Cheshire).
“It looks even better with all of these wonderful gifts around it. We can’t think of a better way to start the festive season by asking children to give a little gift to another child in crisis.
“Our gymnasts are definitely going onto the good list for doing such a good deed.”
