THERE has been yet more success for Delamere cycling brothers Tommy and Jack Bowman.
Over the past few weeks, both have been competing in the North Wales We Cycle Summer circuit series in Rhyl and have come out on top in their respective age groups.
Tommy, who is now a first year Youth C/under 12s rider, proved to be consistent over the five-round series and finished second in every round to give him an aggregate score of 495 out of a possible 500 points to take the under 12s title.
His younger brother – a first year Youth D/under 10s rider – missed one of the rounds due to a dental operation but won all four races he did compete in to claim the under 10s crown on 400 points.
Tommy has also been making more waves in mountain bike racing, with notable results including a second-place finish in the North of England under 10s Championships.
Now in his first year as an under 12s racer, he has taken multiple podium spots at regional level across the country including a win at the Crank-it north west round in Rossendale.
He has also recorded three top-10 finishes in the Welsh National XC series, with a best finish of sixth.
