WINSFORD Swimming Club are celebrating a medal haul achieved at the 2023 Regional Championships.
Sixty-two swimmers competed over three weekends in the youth and age-group competitions in Liverpool, bringing home 46 medals.
Twenty-two of them were of the gold variety, while there was a dozen each of silver and bronze.
And in total Winsford swimmers contested 103 finals.
Winsford head coach Dan Goodwin said: "The results were outstanding and all Winsford swimmers raced and equipped themselves superbly.
"It was a fantastic few weekends of racing, with every swimmer stepping up time and time again in the heats, and then stepping up again in the finals.
"As always it was great to see all the team getting involved in the racing and supporting all Winsford Swim Team onto some tremendous results.
"It has been an incredible ride for our whole team, and so much fun.
"What's better than racing our hearts out as a team? The answer to that is absolutely nothing. There is something special about being a part of a team, especially a team which wear bright orange!
"Winsford swimmers travelled to Liverpool and battled it out against the best swimmers in the north west and did superbly well, so everyone should be very proud of what they achieved."
