WINNINGTON Park first XV delivered an outstanding performance to lift the Papa John's Regional Two North Shield on Sunday.
A Park side stacked with players who have come through the club's mini and juniors production line defeated Newbold-on-Avon 37-20 in Sunday's final at the Darlington Arena.
Charlie Hyde scored one of the key tries, when the sides were tied at 13-13 five minutes into the second half.
The full-back struck on a counter attack that developed from a kick return.
He chased the chipped kick, snuck in from behind a defender to regather the ball from its favourable bounce and then outstripped half a dozen covering tacklers to dot the ball down between the sticks.
Prop Tom King popped up with two tries as well as Winnington completed their campaign in celebratory manner.
