WINNINGTON Park senior colts have completed an unprecedented league and cup double for the club.
Chris Sheppard's side defeated Wirral 25-18 at Eccles on Sunday to lift the Halbro Colts League Cup.
The victory caps a hugely successful two years, having also been crowned league winners last season while also reaching the semi-finals of the Cheshire Cup this time around.
For many of the team, this was their last game of colts rugby.
And a good number of them have already made the step up to senior rugby this season.
The colts team are drawn from all the schools and colleges in the local area and many of the players are now expected to stay on board and play senior rugby for the club.
