Winnington Park Cricket Club celebrate promotion
IT has been a season to remember for Winnington Park Cricket Club
Their superb form has seen them promoted to Division One of the UKFast Cheshire Cricket League, with their top-two spot in Division Two secured in the penultimate week of the campaign.
Park won 15 of the 22 league games they played in 2021 to finish just behind champions Maritime.
Big contributions with the bat came from skipper Alec Butcher, Sam Barnes and vice-captain Jonny Wales while Mark Hamblett starred with the ball.
