ANOTHER week, another win for Witton Albion.
The BetVictor Northern Premier Division's best home record now belongs to Carl Macauley's men after a 3-1 win over Grantham Town on Saturday.
They are just one point outside the play-off places, and they have a game in hand on fifth-place Stalybridge Celtic.
They had to come from behind to win, too, after Brad McGowan's deflected header put the Gingerbreads ahead after just 12 minutes.
Seven minutes later, however, Witton were level – Cesaire's low cross was met by an emphatic finish from Kyle Sambor.
By the half-hour mark, Albion were ahead as Sambor turned provider for Danny McKenna.
Despite being dominant, they were indebted to goalkeeper Chris Renshaw for keeping their half-time lead.
Grantham were awarded a penalty after Witton skipper Josh Wardle brought down Remaye Campbell, but Renshaw kept out Craig Westcarr's spot kick.
Macauley's side had to wait until injury time to wrap up the victory as Tom Owens steered home after being set up by Isaac Baldwin.
