Albion played out a goalless draw with Hyde United at Ewen Fields, with neither side able to break down the other.
A point allowed Carl Macauley's side to move up to seventh in the table as they extended their unbeaten league run to four matches.
They sit two points behind Radcliffe, who occupy the final play-off position.
