A NEW away shirt asked for, and voted on, by their supporters was unveiled by 1874 Northwich on Monday.
Designed by Phil Galloway, a digital artist who has been commissioned previously by Nike, Puma and BT Sport, it takes inspiration from the town’s history.
Fans can buy one from this weekend.

“Phil was presented with an initial idea and has since taken it way beyond our expectations,” said Vicki England, the club’s secretary.
“His talent is very much in demand, and we’re lucky that he’s set aside time in his busy schedule to help us.”
Such an amazing project to be involved in especially having the fan input in the early stages. Design draws on the history, architecture, geography and future of Northwich. Can't wait to don the shirt myself! @1874Northwich #1874Northwich https://t.co/7NZtYrUWQc

Luke Bushnell-Wye, who came up with the North West Counties League outfit’s original crest back in 2013, proposed during 1874’s annual meeting last November that members should choose the shade players dress in.
He insisted too that at least three colour options be considered.
Fellow supporters agreed, and Galloway was presented with a brief after a second ballot resulted in light blue as the favourite.
Bury-based SK Kits have manufactured a shirt worn by first-team squad members Scott McGowan, Jack Pritchard and Kyle Phipps during a promotional shoot last week.
