1874 NORTHWICH will meet a familiar foe when they attempt to reach the Macron Cup final next month.
A draw for the semi-finals stage, made on Saturday night, paired them with North West Counties League top-flight rivals Congleton Town.
The Bears host the first leg with the return at Barton Stadium in Winsford seven days later.
The side managed by Paul Bowyer and Wayne Goodison has won both Premier Division meetings between the teams this season.
They progressed to the last four following a 3-2 win at home to Barnoldswick Town on Friday before Congleton, with former Witton Albion manager Brian Pritchard at the helm, swept aside lower-ranked guests Cammell Laird the following afternoon.
Avro, currently second in the First Division North, and City of Liverpool complete the semi-finals line-up.
