TWO veteran runners finished in the top three of the Cheshire Cross Country Championships women's race in Warrington on Saturday.
Vale Royal Athletics Club pair Sarah Murphy (V40) and Liz Renondeau (V35) crossed the finish line in second and third place respectively.

But the win was taken by Helsby Running Club's Hannah Cowley, who was six seconds clear.
Vale Royal took the team prize, with Chloe Broad the third counter.
