Match pointers

TONY Sullivan will pick the team for the first time since taking over as Witton Albion manager on Thursday.

The visitors are desperate to end a five-match losing run, their worst run of results in the Premier Division since 2008.

The former Cammell Laird boss will want to make the new side more difficult to score against – they have conceded most goals of all the teams in the Northern Premier League’s top flight this season.

Defender Anthony Gardner serves a one-match ban as punishment for his dismissal against Trafford a fortnight ago, while Neil Harvey returns from suspension.

Josh Hancock, whose loan extension was not approved in time for him to play in a midweek defeat at home to Frickley, is available again too.

Sam Barnes (hamstring) continues to convalesce.

King’s Lynn progressed to the FA Cup third qualifying round following a 1-0 win against higher-ranked Hednesford Town last weekend.

The Linnets, who have lost two of their past three league games at the Walks, will be boosted by the return of full back Jackson Ramm from suspension.

Midfielder David Bridges is available again too.
