1874 NORTHWICH’S form on the pitch during September has been recognised by North West Counties League officials.
They announced on Thursday that Ian Street’s men would receive the Club of the Month prize as a reward for an unbeaten sequence that included five wins from six Premier Division matches.
Before that, they had progressed to the next stage of the FA Vase following a 2-0 win at Oldham Boro.
The only blemish was an FA Cup replay defeat against higher-ranked opponents.
1874, victors by a single goal against Bootle on Tuesday, have scored 12 times in their past half dozen league games, earning a share of second place in the table.
They have conceded only once in the same period.
