Northwich Ladies 26 Carlisle Ladies 7
NORTHWICH passed their latest test in style, scoring four tries at Moss Farm against one of the league’s biggest packs.
The home team’s defence had to repel waves of attacks during the opening period, but found time to pinch a try when Katie Johnson crossed in the corner.
Paul O’Keefe’s side made their superior fitness tell in the second half, when Aimee Proctor orchestrated their best attacking moves.
Hannah Tunnicliffe and Becky Bravender both touched down before Johnson added a fourth try that secured a bonus point.
Kelly Malam kicked conversions for each of the tries after the interval before Carlisle claimed a late consolation.
