Match pointers
WITTON Albion’s primary target is to end a sequence of three successive defeats in league and cup since Anthony Sheehan was appointed as manager.
They will have to do so without Neil Harvey, who starts a three-match suspension. Sam Barnes (hamstring) is still out injured.
However teenage pair Sam Ramsbottom, a goalkeeper, and midfielder Liam Blake are expected to make their home debut after agreeing loan deals from Tranmere Rovers and Chester this week respectively.
Meanwhile Chris Sanna, Iain Howard and Jack Sherratt have left.
Witton have scored in every home game so far, though only Halesowen have left Wincham Park without breaching their defence.
Visitors Trafford, without a win in four Evo-Stik Northern Premier League matches, have won on each of their past three visits to Witton, scoring 12 goals.
That sequence includes a 4-0 victory last season.
Garry Vaughan’s men have been unreliable in defence away from Shawe View this term, with only two teams – Frickley and King’s Lynn – having conceded more goals.
Ex-Albion midfielder Tom Schofield is available again after serving a suspension, while Rory Fallon and Joe Shaw could also line up against their former club.
