Winnington Park 45 Hoylake 10
LEE Allmark marked a century of appearances for Winnington Park by scoring a try in a 45-10 win against Hoylake in the Cheshire RFU Vase.
The hosts ran in seven tries at Burrows Hill in a one-side contest against opponents who will be their guests again this Saturday in the campaign’s opening league encounter.
Fly half Jack Williams’ perfectly-weighted cross-field kick was collected by Joe Robins for their first try before Fraser Lindsay claimed the first of his two scores with a fine solo effort from halfway.
Allmark added Park’s third try, while Hoylake replied in the seconds before half time when Tom Corkhill crossed after a maul had gained ground.
Williams waltzed through to score under the posts after the break, then Ben Ridgway powered his way over the line from close range.
Andy Heptinstall touched down on his debut for the first team in a competitive match before Lindsay’s second try completed the scoring.
Ian Stevenson, following a lineout, added Hoylake’s other try.
