MID-CHESHIRE B will have the table’s summit in their sights when they take on fellow promotion hopefuls Bury in the Federation National League this weekend.
The teams are separated by five points, with Chris Koral’s men occupying second spot after losing narrowly to North Yorkshire last month.
“It’s an important match,” said the Mid-Cheshire team manager.
“A good win will send us to the top, something we’re certainly capable of.”
Both teams were relegated from Division Three last year, with Bury 21-11 victors in their head-to-head after returning seven winners at Comberbach.
Castle Private will host the home leg this time around, while Bury have picked Elton Liberal Club.
Both games start at 2pm.
