TENNIS: Double whammy
WINSFORD A lost at home to their Goostrey counterparts in the South and Mid Cheshire League’s third tier on Thursday.
Chairman Chris Mayoh, Mark Garratt, Steve McCormack and John Randall were on court for a 5½-2½ defeat at Knights Grange.
Meanwhile Winsford B, represented by Chris Jones, Bill Lawrie, Steve Harris and Craig Edmondson, were on the wrong end of an 8-0 drubbing at Congleton D at the level below.
