ATHLETICS: Adrian's bronze
VALE Royal Athletics Club’s Adrian Tomlinson finished third in the under 20s men’s high jump during the Northern Track and Field Championships at the weekend.
The 18-year-old returned home from Sportcity, in Manchester, with a bronze medal after a season best leap of 1.93m.
Kate Spilsbury was seventh in the senior women’s 5,000m, timing 18:23.88.
