ONE of Paul Ogden’s first summer signings, making the short trip to Wincham Park from Winsford United.
Defensive midfielder Parkinson started his career with home town club Crewe before signing for Nantwich Town.
Stays at Newcastle Town and Alsager Town followed before moving back to the Dabbers in 2005, helping Steve Davis’ men to win the FA Vase the following year.
Totalled close to 150 appearances in three seasons with the Cheshire club before moving to Vodkat North West Counties League Premier Division outfit Congleton Town.
Made a handful of starts for Winsford to help Blues avoid relegation at the end of last term.
