CAREERS advisers have been stepping into the shoes of students for a day to learn more about college courses.
More than a dozen advisers from Connexions visited the Dane Bank Avenue campus to take part in practical and interactive sessions.
Many of the advisers are based in local high schools and give students valuable careers advice about their next step.
Some of the sessions which they took part included cookery, geography and polish The event was organised by Mike Finney and Shona Brough from the college’s school liaison team.
Mike said: “We wanted to give Connexions advisers the opportunity to come into college and take part in some of the subjects that are on offer.
“The aim of the event was to keep Connexions advisers in tune with what goes on at the college as many of the students they give advice to at local schools come here as their next step.”
