THIS year's December play from the Nantwich Players is Neville's Island by Tim Firth, a biting comedy with a darker edge.
It features four men shipwrecked on an island in Derwentwater in late autumn.
But how did they get there and will they be home for Christmas? Tickets are available from the Nantwich Tourist Office from Monday November 16.
The play runs from December 4 to 12, with the first performance to raise funds for the Love Lane theatre project to provide a new community arts venue and enlarge the auditorium.
Father Christmas will also be visiting the Players Theatre, along with local children singing carols, on Saturday December 12.
