YOUNGSTERS were treated to a night of pizza and pop at the newly-opened Wharton Library.
More than 50 hungry children and teenagers gathered for the pizza party hosted by Cheshire Police, Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service, Wincap and Connexions.
Winsford Anglers gave a presentation on fishing and signed young fishermen and women up for fishing sessions in the National Pool.
PCSO Jackie Tudor said: “This pizza party was a great opportunity for young people to learn more about the sport of fishing and sign up to take part in a one-day coaching session over half term.
“We would like to thank Winsford Anglers for giving up their time to give the presentation and to run the fishing session.”
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service bought the pizza ad Co-op donated drinks.
