TOWN councillors are fuming at the lack of progress with Northwich Vision so far.
Northwich Town Council put the vision on its agenda on Monday following the Guardian’s revelation that the original Northwich Vision partnership ended seven months ago.
A new body to drive plans forward is only just coming into being.
Town mayor Clr Helen Burder said: “I’m appalled that we get to find out what’s happening from the local press and not from CWAC.
“There was significant money invested with the pretext we were actually going to have a Northwich Vision.”
Clr Arthur Neil said: “What we need is some kind of guarantee that just because the time isn’t right that it’s still a high priority for CWAC and that as soon as the time is right, they’ll get the process moving again.”
The council decided to invite CWAC councillors and officers to a future meeting to discuss the future for Northwich Vision.
