CHESHIRE East Mayor Margaret Simon is inviting members of the public to mark Remembrance Day on November 8 in the company of war veterans and local dignitaries.
In partnership with the British Legion, a number of events, including processions and full parades, are to take place to commemorate those who have given their lives for Great Britain in wars spanning more than a century.
Councillor Simon will be joining veterans and local dignitaries in Crewe.
The town's Remembrance Service will begin with a parade from Chester Street, on to Market Street and Earle Street.
Cly Simon will salute the march on Sandon Street before taking up position on Civic Square for the service.
