A DRUG dealer has been jailed after police found wraps of crack cocaine and heroin at his house.
Stuart Birtles, of Church Road, in Northwich, was sentenced to 18 months imprisonment for possessing Class A drugs with intent to supply.
The 31-year-old was jailed when he appeared at Chester Crown Court..
He had admitted two charges of possessing Class A drugs with intent to supply at an earlier hearing.
Sgt Claire Fletcher, from Northwich Neighbourhood Policing Unit, said: “Drug dealing and use has a major impact on communities and is a priority for our Neighbourhood Policing Teams.
“This case shows we will take robust action against anyone found to be bringing drugs into our communities.”
Police discovered wraps of crack cocaine and heroin when they raided Birtles’ Church Road home on July 16 this year.
Officers are appealing for any information about drug dealing or drug use in Northwich.
Sgt Fletcher said: “Many of the drugs warrants we carry out are the result of information gathered from the public.
“I would encourage anyone who has information on drugs in their neighbourhood to contact us or Crimestoppers.”
