YOUNGSTERS are being offered the chance to enter a competition to become 'Santa’s little helper’ at a Nantwich garden centre.
Staff at Bridgemere Garden World want youngsters aged between six and 11-years-old to write in before 5pm on Wednesday November 11, to explain why they deserve to help Father Christmas this yuletide.
General manager Gary Kemp said: “The lucky winner, along with a parent or guardian, will have the chance to meet Santa before his arrival on November 14 and escort him on his journey to the garden centre in time for the festive season.
“They will then accompany Father Christmas to his grotto and be the first child inside – having extra time to spend with Santa.
"We want as many children as possible to enter the competition.
"The winner will be given special VIP treatment during the Santa’s arrival event.
“Children who wish to be Santa’s little helper need to simply write in and tell us why they deserve the job and what skills and experience of looking after people they could bring to the role.”
All entries should be posted to Gary Kemp, General Manager, Bridgemere Nursery and Garden World, Nantwich, Cheshire, CW5 7QB.
