THE intrepid band of Comberbach Mummers will be out in Cheshire performing their unique ‘Soulcaking Play’ over Hallowe’en.
Each performance lasts 20 minutes, includes plenty of ‘hocus pocus’ and the group hopes to raise more than £1,500 for local charities.
To join in the fun with the Mummers on Saturday, October 31, meet at The Spinner and Bergamot, Comberbach at 7.30pm.
On Hallowe’en they will be calling at the Red Lion, Pickmere, 8.15pm, the George and Dragon, Great Budworth, 8.45pm, the Cock O’Budworth, 9.30pm, Great Budworth and the Drum and Monkey, Comberbach, 10.15pm.
On Friday, November 6, they will be at the Carriers Inn, 8pm, the Horshoe, Kingsley, 8.45pm, the Hare and Hounds, Crowton, 8.15pm and the Tigers Head, Whitegate, 10pm.
On Saturday, November 7, they will be appearing at the Bulls Head, Davenham, 8.15pm, the Alvenley Arms, Cotebrook, 9pm and The Plough, Whitegate, 10pm.
