WINSFORD’S Service of Rememberence takes place at the war memorial in Winsford Cross Shopping centre on Sunday, November 8.
The town council and Winsford British Legion will meet at Wyvern House at 10.15am before making their way into town for the service at 10.30am, which will be led by the Rev Adam Field from St Chad’s church.
The British Legion will be holding a second service at the war memorial on Wednesday, November 11 at 10.30am, and opening a shop in the shopping centre to display war memoribilia on Wednesday 9, 10 and 11.
