HAILED by indie bible NME as 'your new favourite band', Romance headline at The Box in Crewe on Friday November 6.
Fresh from completing a UK tour, after only a year together Romance have already made noticeable waves in the London music scene and around the country.
Championed as the pioneers of the imminent 'gloom-pop' movement their angular guitars, tribal drumming, creeping bass lines and soulful vocal melodies create crashing tides of dark noise.
Consisting of David Woods, Alexander Glover, Samantha Valentine and Jamie Lovatt, Romance have been described as 'a band that are defining themselves with a unique sound and energy that is seriously addictive'.
The four-piece have already proved themselves as a force to be reckoned with in and around London with live performances that are unmatched for sheer excitement, and quite literally packed full of blood, sweat and tears.
With Japanese mini album, 'Arikara', set for release in late August and the debut single, 'Another Place', due out this month, Romance are moving quicker than anyone could of imagined.
Support comes from Crewe band Panda Sumos, Angel Range from Northwich and Igloo Invasion.
Tickets are £5 and available from www.theboxcrewe.co.uk.
