TWO men suffered serious head and facial injuries after being attacked by a gang in Winsford.
The victims, aged 28 and 29, we set upon by four men at the junction of High Street, Delamere Street and Woodfrod Lane just after midnight on Saturday, October 24.
The pair had just left a fast food resstaurant in Woodfrod lane when they were attacked. Both were taken to Leighton Hospital and will need ongoing treatment for their injuries.
The offenders are believed to be from the Winsford area, in their late teens to early 20s and were of slim build with short hair.
A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: “The area would have been very busy at the time of the assault and we believe there must have been many witnesses. Anyone with information is urged to call DC Gary Morris on 01244 613254 or ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
