YOUNGSTERS from Malbank School in Nantwich received some insights into space travel last week with a visit from the Starchaser Rocketry Programme.
Starchaser is a British space programme working on concepts for the purpose of space tourism.
The visit allowed pupils to view the Skybolt Rocket – a completely reusable rocket.
The Starchaser team delivered a presentation on the history of the programme and its current mission to send a rocket into space.
Members of the team were on hand to explain the science behind the rocket and demonstrate the technology used in space flight.
