NANTWICH In Bloom volunteers notched up a further victory after earning a new trophy last week.
Committee members and helpers, along with Cheshire East Council representatives, attended the North West in Bloom awards ceremony in Southport.
They returned with the Preston Plate - the award for the Best Town in the North West - for the sixth year in a row.
Secretary Connie Jones said: "Competition is always stiff.
"Our main strength seems to be that we produce a good effort through teamwork and co-operation.
"Judges are always impressed by the number of small businesses who continue to play their part by exhibiting beautiful floral displays even during difficult times."
