EXPECTANT mums and new parents are invited to a festival next month as Nantwich plays host to a Baby Fair in aid of two children’s charities.
The event is being staged by Hullabaloo Kids following the success of the summer baby fair in Sandbach.
The event will take place at Nantwiich Civic Hall from 10am on Saturday November 21 and will feature more than 40 stalls for bumps, babies, toddlers, parents and grandparents.
All proceeds from the event are going to national charity Caudwell Children and the Neo-natal Unit at Leighton Hospital in Crewe.
Demonstrations including first aid, children’s activity classes, toddler dance and lots more will also be taking place throughout the day.
Event organiser Sharon Burrows said: “A lot of the independent baby retailers or services don’t have high street shops and can be quite hard to find.
"By holding a baby fair we are giving parents the chance to browse everything associated with having a baby.
"We are delighted that by donating the proceeds from the event to both Caudwell Children and the neo-natal unit at Leighton Hospital we will be helping towards providing life changing donations for children."
Chief executive of Caudwell Children, Trudi Beswick, said: “We are really pleased that Sharon has chosen to support the charity at this event.
"It is vitally important that families across the region are aware of the support we can provide and that we are here to help.
"We all wish her the best of luck with the event.”
Entry costs £2.50 for each adult and all proceeds are donated to charity.
